Arron and Dan embarked on our journey that started with a hike up Dragon’s Back in Buxton. This scenic trail is renowned for its breathtaking views and challenging paths, making it a favorite among hiking enthusiasts. As we reached the summit, we were rewarded with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape, a moment that made every step worth the effort.
After the invigorating trek, we decided to unwind with a few beers at a place in Buxton Named Thornbridge Brewery. The lively atmosphere and refreshing IPA’s along with beautiful pizza was the perfect way to re-fuel. However, as the evening progressed, we might have indulged a bit too much, enjoying the music & atmosphere that comes with a shared adventure.
With the night drawing to a close, we set off in a taxi back with a short walk back to the tent, nestled in a nearby campsite. I stumbled into my tent, grateful for the warmth and comfort of my new sleeping bag, ready to drift into a well-earned sleep under the stars. Their day was a perfect blend of nature, friendship, and a touch of adventure, creating memories that would last a lifetime (and a thick head).
